SWEP Report Writing Guide

This guide provides a comprehensive overview of how to write your Students Work Experience Programme (SWEP) report to meet the Faculty of Engineering standards at OAUSTECH.

What is SWEP?

The Students Work Experience Programme (SWEP) is a short-term industrial attachment programme undertaken during long vacations, typically at the end of 200 or 300 level. It exposes students to practical engineering environments.

Font: Times New Roman, Size 12. Line spacing: 1.5. Margins: 1 inch on all sides (left margin: 1.5 inches for binding). Page numbers at the bottom center. Report must be printed and spiral-bound or hardcover.

Submit 1 hard copies and logbook to the Departmental SWEP Coordinator. Submission deadline is usually within 4 weeks of resumption after the vacation. Late submission attracts penalty marks.

How do I become a NUESA member?

Every engineering student at OAUSTECH is automatically a member of NUESA. You can get more actively involved by attending general meetings, joining committees, or running for an executive position.

You can use the "Send Us a Message" form on this page, reach out via email, or speak directly to your course representative who will escalate the matter.

Events are announced on our social media platforms and through the announcements bar on our website. Check back regularly or follow us to stay updated.

Absolutely! We welcome ideas, partnerships, and collaborations. Reach out via the contact form or email us at nuesaoaustech@gmail.com with your proposal.

Past questions and academic resources are available on the Library page of this website. You can browse by department and course. If you need a specific resource that is not listed, contact us and we'll do our best to help.

NUESA occasionally facilitates information about scholarship opportunities and student support programs. Follow our social media and website announcements to stay informed. We also advocate on behalf of students with the faculty and university administration.
