How to Apply
Application Process

STEP 01
JAMB Registration
Register with JAMB and select OAUSTECH as your institution with the correct subject combination for your preferred department.

STEP 02
Post-UTME Screening
Monitor OAUSTECH’s official portal for Post-UTME dates, pay the screening fee, and sit for the examination.

STEP 03
Acceptance & Clearance
Upon admission, pay the acceptance fee, complete online clearance, and submit all required original documents.

STEP 04
Matriculation
Attend the formal matriculation ceremony to be officially sworn in as an OAUSTECH student.

Entry Requirements
UTME Entry Requirements
Five (5) O’Level credits including Mathematics, English Language, Physics, and Chemistry (at one or two sittings).
Minimum UTME score as prescribed by JAMB and OAUSTECH for the relevant academic session.
UTME subject combination must include English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (or Further Mathematics).
Candidates must register for the Post-UTME screening organised by OAUSTECH.
Direct Entry Requirements
At least two A’Level passes (GCE/HSC/IJMB/Cambridge) in Mathematics and Physics, or two relevant science subjects.
ND Upper Credit or HND Upper Credit in a related engineering field from a recognized institution.
OND or equivalent qualification may be considered for certain programmes.
Five O’Level credits as required for UTME candidates.

Regulations
Faculty Rules & Regulations
All students in the Faculty of Engineering & Technology are expected to abide by these regulations.

Attendance Policy
Students must maintain a minimum of 75% attendance in all lectures, tutorials, and practicals to qualify for examinations.

Examination Conduct
Any form of examination malpractice attracts immediate expulsion. Students must present their ID cards at all examinations.

Laboratory Safety
Adherence to laboratory safety protocols is compulsory. Appropriate protective equipment must be worn at all times in the lab.

Academic Probation
Any student with a CGPA below 1.0 at the end of a session will be placed on academic probation and may face withdrawal.

Industrial Training (SIWES)
All 400-level engineering students are required to complete 24 weeks of SIWES/IT placement and submit an approved report.

Project Submission
Final year students must complete and defend their project within the stipulated academic calendar deadline.

Student Conduct
Students must dress decently, maintain respectful conduct towards staff and colleagues, and uphold the university code of conduct.

Course Registration
Students must formally register all courses at the beginning of each semester within the specified period. Late registration attracts a fine.
